Ok, "The Illusion of Progress", Staind's 6th album came out August 19. They have changed their music sound, yet I defiently love the album. They sound better than ever! They have not disappointed me yet again. I have supported Staind since "Tormented" and will never quit. They rock no matter how much their sound changed.
For those of you who have gotten it, what does everyone else think?

Ok my football team just got a new field but it is not finished! For some reason we are playing on the Field! Even though he he a nice field we could play on. Lovelace - Yes I did, especially the part about him urintating on a couch when his demands werent met. Not exactly great negotiation skills. He would have known what he was getting long before the festival

Remember when music sounded good ?Like hip hop, R&B, pop and rock use to sound ?Hip hop sounded more real in the 90's and early 2000's. Before hip hop was about the real world. And had good beats to it. Now it sounds the same. It's just about money, bling, cars and clubs.
And remember how R&B use to sound ? It's not as good as it use to be. I always wonder if R&B would still sound the same if Aaliyah was still here.
And remember the way pop use to sound ? All pop really is now a days is wannabe rock.
And of course Rock music. What happened ? All the desent rock bands barley get as much attention as Jonas Brothers, Paramore, Fall out boy and ect.
Music is just not the same anymore. Am I alone ?
Also, I miss Aaliyah, Tupac, Biggie, and Lefteye so, so much. R.I.P. U guys.
I do like some music from now. But not as much as I did when I was seven years old.

I've been getting a little bored with my music lately and I need some suggestions on some good bands.
Some of my favorite bands are Nightwish, In This Moment, Foxy Shazam, Hole, Wolfmother...
I am open to any alternative, hard rock, or metal bands that you think I should listen to as long as they are unique and have an interesting sound so I don't get bored with them. Also, please stick with semi-new bands. I'm already aware of all the great older bands!

okay, I'm into pretty much everything. Like Jazz, classical, opera.....some country is good...hell I'll even listen to some pop now and again..street rap is great...hip-hop is fun....but rock is my favorite modern rock, 70's, 80's, metal, and a little screamo....
So, anyone know any good bands.....please, if they are relativly well known trust that I have heard of them....I'm looking for some less common stuff....

i love to dance, not like highschool dance team or ballet stuff, but real dancing like at a party and i think i have heard of every dance song in the world and i really need a new playlist to jam to. so if anyone has any really awesome or undiscovered dancign songs they know please tell me id love to hear new music.

taproots music used to be really emotional and heavy, and i liked it. i like the song they have out now "wherever i stand" but it just sounds different from the songs from their "gift" and "welcome" albums. maybe they have grown as artists but i hope they are not trying to follow this trend of singing about love and drugs like the rest. has it changed to you?
